About managing a project

After you create and set up a project, developers join the project, work on activities, and deliver completed activities to the integration stream or feature-specific development stream. In your role as integrator, you need to maintain the project so that developers do not get out of sync with each other’s work. The following are common project maintenance tasks:

• Adding components
• Building components
• Creating a new baseline
• Testing the baseline
• Recommending the baseline
• Resolving baseline conflicts
• Monitoring project status
• Cleaning up the project
