Installing the ClearTeam® Explorer
ClearTeam® Explorer technology provides access to DevOps Code ClearCase® from various network connections, including wide area network (WAN). This technology is available in the ClearTeam Explorer in various forms.

        Installing Graphical Editing Framework (GEF)
        ClearTeam® Explorer for Eclipse requires that GEF be installed in your Eclipse environment. If you do not have GEF, you must install it before installing the ClearTeam Explorer for Eclipse.

        Before installing ClearTeam® Explorer for Eclipse, you must install GEF to your Eclipse environment if it is not already installed.
        Installing updates for ClearTeam® Explorer for Eclipse
        Updates to the ClearTeam Explorer for Eclipse are available through IBM® DevOps CCRC WAN server and installed via the Eclipse update mechanism. Your ClearCase® Administrator will inform you when updates are available and should be installed on your client machine.

        Installation of the ClearTeam® Explorer Extension includes the fulfillment of some prerequisite requirements, the completion of the installation steps, and post-installation updates.
      - Installation of ClearTeam Explorer for Visual Studio
        Use Installation Manager to install ClearTeam® Explorer for Visual Studio. During installation, choose the appropriate option to match the version of Visual Studio that is installed in your environment.
    - Installing the ClearCase® integration for Microsoft Visual Studio
      Use Installation Manager to install the ClearTeam® Explorer integration for Microsoft Visual Studio (CCRC_VSI), and select the appropriate option to match the version of Visual Studio installed in your environment.
    - Integrating DevOps Code ClearCase® with Cadence Virtuoso
      The DevOps Code ClearCase® Cadence Virtuoso Integration is available as a separate extension offering and can be independently installed and uninstalled using IBM Installation Manager. This mechanism allows you to upgrade the integration bits without the need to upgrade the underlying ClearCase.
    - Uninstalling ClearCase®
      You can use the IBM Installation Manager to uninstall ClearCase®.
  - Configuring your environment after deploying
    For some types of DevOps Code ClearCase® and DevOps Code ClearCase MultiSite hosts, you must complete some configuration tasks after you have installed the products.
