Managing your communitiesAs a community owner, you can edit your community to update basic information about the community or the apps associated with the community. If the community is no longer needed or was created in error, you can delete it.
Customizing your community Customize your community to distinguish it from other communities. You must be a community owner to customize a community.
Changing the community start pageIf you are a community owner, you can change the community's start page to be redirected a particular page. When a user opens a community, that page is displayed in place of the Community overview page. This procedure applies to communities and subcommunities.

If you are a community owner, you can change the community's start page to be redirected a particular page. When a user opens a community, that page is displayed in place of the Community overview page. This procedure applies to communities and subcommunities.

About this task

You can redirect users to a particular page by changing the community start page, for example the wiki start page. You can select any full page app as a start page.

Procedure

To change the community start page, complete the following steps:

From the My Communities tab, select the community that you want to edit.
If you are not already logged in, you are prompted to do so.
Select Community Actions > Edit Community.
Click the arrow next to Start Page: and select a start page from the list that displays.
Click Save.

Results

Users are redirected app page when they open a community. The following community features are also redirected to the start page:

Community catalog links
Megamenu links
Subcommunity links
Business cards
Community handles
