About this task

The HCL VersionVault ALM process assumes that your team uses an iterative development process where you include multiple iterations in the schedule. The team designs, constructs, and tests a working version of the project for each iteration. You need to create labels to identify the iterations in your development schedule.

The ALMIterationLabel record gives a name for an iteration of development work. The labels can be a set of numbers. You can specify a numbering convention to improve sorting, such as 01, 02, 03, ... , 10, 11, or I01, I02, ..., I10. The Name field is mandatory.

Procedure

In the HCL VersionVault client, click File > New > ALMIterationLabel.
Enter a name for the iteration label in the Name field. Enter a description of the iteration label in the Description field.
Click OK.
