Marking a request as a duplicate
About this task
Procedure
- In the request record form click the Utilities toolbar icon and select MarkAsDuplicate.
- On the Comments tab double-click the entry for the new comment.
- In the comment record form, modify the placeholder comment with one that describes why you think this request is a duplicate. Click Add next to the Duplicate of Record ID field. Select the request that you believe addresses the same issue as the new one. Click the Response Requested checkbox if you want the owner of the request to respond to you. Click OK.
- Click Apply.
