Management Center services

Each business object editor must define which type of service Management Center uses to communicate with the server. For instance, when you are creating a business object editor, you can use configuration services to retrieve configuration data and context data. You can use load services to retrieve business objects, and you can use transaction services to create, update, and delete business objects.

The Service class, which is defined in the Service.xml definition file is the base class for all service types that are used within Management Center.
