RefreshRegistry URL

Refreshes the registry information about all clones, as a background job.

URL structure

http:// host_name/path/
The fully qualified name of your WebSphere Commerce Server and the configuration path

Parameter values

langId
Sets or resets the preferred language for the duration of the session; the supported languages for a store are found in the STORELANG table
URL
Required: The URL to be called when the command completes successfully
registryName
The name of the registry to refresh; if no registry name is given, all registries are refreshed

Example 1

This example refreshes all registries:

http://myhostname/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/RefreshRegistry?URL=/webapp/wcs/Admin/homepg

Example 2

This example refreshes a specified registry name:

http://myhostname/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/RefreshRegistry?
    URL=/webapp/wcs/Admin/homepg&registryName=StoreRegistry

Behavior

  • The command avoids having to restart the server after the registry has changed.

Exception condition

Missing URL parameter.
