RemoveJob URL

This command cancels a job scheduled to run by the scheduler. This command cancels a job scheduled to run by the scheduler and marks it as deleted in the SCHCONFIG database table.

URL structure

http:// host_name/path/
The fully qualified name of your WebSphere Commerce Server and the configuration path.

Parameter values

langId
Sets or resets the preferred language for the duration of the session; the supported languages for a store are found in the STORELANG table.
URL
Required: The URL to be called when the command completes successfully.
jobId
Required: The reference number of the job to be canceled, as specified in the SCCJOBREFNUM column of the SCHCONFIG table.

Example

The following example cancels a job with the reference number 100:

Behavior

  • If the job is idle or in a Completed/Successful state, this command changes the value of the job from A to D (active to de-active). It removes all entries in the SCHACTIVE table related to the job.
  • The command makes a specified job inactive.
  • If instances of this job are currently running when it is canceled, those instances are allowed to complete.
  • The job is marked as deleted in the SCHCONFIG table.
