The WebSphere Application Server Administrative Console
is used to stop and start the cluster. Clustering, if configured,
provides failover protection and workload balancing
Procedure
- To start the cluster:
- If they are not started, start the node agent on each
node in the cluster. Ensure that you start the node agent on each
node as the WebSphere Commerce non-root user.
- If it is not started, start the deployment manager.
- Start the WebSphere Application Server Deployment Manager
Administrative Console and log on to the console.
- In the Navigation area, expand Servers and
click Clusters.
- Select the check box next to the cluster you want to
start and click Start.
- Log out of the WebSphere Application Server Deployment
Manager Administrative Console.
- To stop the cluster:
- Start the WebSphere Application Server Deployment Manager
Administrative Console and log on to the console.
- In the Navigation area, expand Servers and
click Clusters.
- Select the check box next to the cluster you want to
start and click Stop.
- Log out of the WebSphere Application Server Deployment
Manager Administrative Console.
- Stop the deployment manager:
