WebSphere Commerce search data cache
The WebSphere Commerce search server code uses the WebSphere Dynamic Cache facility to perform caching of database query results. Similar to the data cache used by the main WebSphere Commerce server, this caching code is referred to as the WebSphere Commerce search server data cache.
The search server data cache is enabled by default. However, because the search server data cache relies on database triggers to perform required cache invalidations when data changes, you must create the database triggers defined in the schema/dbtype/wcs.cacheivl.trigger.sql database script files. Otherwise, some stale data can persist in the search server data cache, causing out of date search results.
