Task flow: Publishing a new store to use Management Center price rules and price lists
To publish a new WebSphere Commerce starter store that uses the Catalog Filter and Pricing tool features, there are a number of setup tasks to perform. Refer to this task flow to understand the tasks and the order in which to perform them.
Before you begin
- Install WebSphere Commerce Version 7 Feature Pack 2 or later. This feature pack installs all software required to manage price lists and price rules in Management Center.
- Enable starter store enhancements. As a result, the related software assets to support new price rule and price list features in Management Center are activated and ready for use.
You can perform the following tasks on either a WebSphere Commerce development or runtime machine. Choose one of the following three options for publishing your store, and then try out the new pricing features in Management Center by following the last task in this list.
