Install the command-line tools

You can use the command-line tools to start a remote control session from the command-line, or run commands on a target system without target user interaction. The commands can be useful if you want to connect to a target without using the IBM® BigFix® Remote Control Server interface or for using as part of a script to run multiple commands in an automated fashion. The command-line tools are only available to run on Windows™ operating systems and Linux™ operating systems.

IBM BigFix Remote Control provides two ways to install the command-line tools. If you have access to the IBM BigFix console, use the deployment fixlets to deploy the tools.
