Retrieving File System Monitoring Cache information

This analysis retrieves and displays file scan statistics for scanner service.

About this task

The information includes details such as scan iteration, scanned files count, scanned directories count, scan duration, total DB size, and timestamp of record.

To retrieve the File System Monitoring Cache information, perform the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Log in to the BigFix Scanner console.
  2. In the navigation tree, click Sites > External Sites > BigFix Scanner, and then click Analyses.
  3. Select the File Scan Statistics - Scanner Service analysis, right-click on it, and then click Activate. The analysis is activated and it starts retrieving the Scanner Service information.
  4. To view the information, click the Results tab. Identify the computer name and hover on statistics results to view the complete retrieved information.

Results

You retrieved file scan statistics for the scanner service. The information includes scan iteration, scanned files count, scanned directories count, scan duration, total DB size, and timestamp of record.
