Domains to be tested

You can include domains other than that of the Starting URL in the scan.

About this task

If your application includes links to domains other than the domain of the Starting URL, you must add them here to ensure AppScan includes them in the scan. You can add these domains individually or add multiple domains at once using a CSV file.

Procedure

  • To add domains one by one:
    1. Type in the domain name. Example: demo.testfire.net or 65.61.137.117
    2. Click Add another.
  • To add multiple domains:
    1. Click add multiple domains link.
    2. Select the CSV file and click Open.
      The domains must be listed one below the other in Column A of the input CSV file. Note that there are no validations, hence ensure that your input file is error-free.
    The servers are added to the list.
  • To include all subdomains automatically:
    1. Enter the starting URL. For example, http://a.com/home/
    2. Set the domain to .a.com. All subdomains such as http://b.a.com and http://c.a.com are included automatically.
  • To modify a domain in the list, simply edit the corresponding field.
  • To remove a domain from the list, click the Delete button next to it.
