If your server uses HTTPS, you need to add the AppScan SSL root certificate (so that requests sent using
AppScan as proxy will be accepted).
Procedure
- Click Install AppScan certificate locally, and then click Yes on the Windows dialog
box that appears to allow the change.
Note: Once the certificate
is installed, the button is replaced with a confirmation message,
and the button will not appear the next time you use the wizard (unless
the certificate is uninstalled.
Note: To uninstall, go to Tools > Options > Recording Proxy, and click Remove.
- If you will be exploring from a remote device (mobile phone
or emulator), you must also install the certificate on that device:
- On the device, browse to:
http://appscan
- On the device, click Install AppScan SSL Certificate.
You are now ready to record the login from
your device, with AppScan as recording proxy.
- Click Next.
