1. Choose a deployment scenario.

   1. If you are using SQL Server Enterprise Edition, enable Transparent Data Encryption.
   2. If you are using SQL Server Standard Edition, use Encrypting File System.
3. Manage users.
   1. Define custom user types.
   2. Create users.
   3. Import LDAP user groups.
4. Configure defect tracking integration.
