Static analysis
Use static analysis (SAST) to scan for security vulnerabilities in web and desktop applications. Static analysis includes Intelligent Finding Analytics (IFA) and Intelligent Code Analytics (ICA).

Results
The Scans and Sessions page lists scans under the categories where you can view your scan results, including scan statistics. To view, rescan, or download reports, select a scan.

Automatic update of AppScan Go! fails

Symptom

When launching AppScan Go!, you see the following message:

Cause

During installation, AppScan Go! attempts to pull the latest version of the Static Analyzer Command Line Utility. The current version of AppScan Go! does not support this behavior with AppScan 360°.

Resolution

Either:

Download and extract the SAClientUtil ZIP file, then place the child SAClientUtil folder into your <user_home>\.appscan directory.
Delete the settings.json file and launch AppScan Go! application directly (not the installer).
1. Windows: settings.json is in <user_home>\%APPDATA%\Roaming\appscan-go.
2. Linux/OSX: settings.json is in /root/.config/appscan-go.
