  In version 2.1.6 of HCL Universal Orchestrator, workflow orchestration gains inline scripting, conditional run logic, and a live monitoring canvas; Docker and Podman deployment, Telegram channel support, and Agentic AI Builder updates round out the release.

Changed features

The following features have changed or have been removed since the previous release:

Enhanced workflow visibility: real-time task counts: The Graphical Designer now displays the total task count directly within the workflow box in the workspace, providing instant visibility into the workload of each stream.

Extended Java JDK Support: The HCL UnO agent does not support Java 25 in versions prior to 2.1.4. Support for Java 25 is available starting with this release.

HCL Universal Orchestrator 2.1.6 for Gemini 3.x models: To integrate Gemini 3.x models with AI agents, you must upgrade your environment to HCL Universal Orchestrator 2.1.6.
