v2.1.7+nop/unnop

Sets a task in plan to an operational or non-operational state. It temporarily disables a task without changing its dependencies.

Overview

If a task contains standard dependencies, the dependencies are released and successor tasks are launched. If the dependency is conditional, the condition must evaluate as true before the successors can run. After the command runs, the specified task changes to CANCEL PEND status.

You can perform the action on tasks that are in ready or hold status. If you run the command to a task with a configured run cycle, only future instances of that task is affected. All tasks that have already started, run according to the schedule.

For example, if you need to temporarily skip a notification task during a service outage, set that task to nop until service is restored.
