v2.1.7+Removing an HCL Universal Orchestrator instance using scripts

You can remove the HCL Universal Orchestrator instance from the host machine by using scripts. By default, the uninstaller automatically stops the service but retains your configuration data for future upgrades, though you can specify a parameter to perform a complete removal.

Overview

When you run the uno-uninstall.sh or uno-uninstall.ps1 script, the system automatically stops the service if it is running as a daemon or stops the process if it is active. By default, the script retains the .uno directory (which contains the uno.properties file and SSL certificates) to support future upgrades or migrations.

If you want to completely delete all local configuration data and logs, you can specify the purge parameter when you run the script.
Example:
--purge
Example:
-purge
Note: The uninstaller does not modify or delete any data stored in external MongoDB or Kafka instances. These components must be managed separately by the database administrator.
