Displaying formatted HTTP data (HTTP)
The HTTP command is used to parse raw data at a specified storage address and format it into a readable, indented HTTP structure. See HTTP command for the complete command syntax.
If the HTTP command is entered from a dump storage display without specifying an address, the address in the first position in the current display is used.
When invoked, a pop-up panel similar to the following is displayed: Figure 1. HTTP Mapping display
┌───────────────────────── Storage HTTP Mapping ──────────────────────────┐ │ │ │ To view formatted HTTP data, specify the storage address in the Address │ │ field and press Enter. │ │ │ │ Address 1B118000 │ │ │ │ F1=Help F3=Exit F12=Cancel │ └─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
You can specify the following option on this panel:
- Address
- The explicit memory address where the HTTP formatting begins. It must identify the first byte of the HTTP Request or Status line. If you specify a different address, the output might be truncate or the system might not detect the HTTP data. The address parameter is 64-bit enabled. For details, see Specifying 64-bit addresses.
Press Enter to process the storage. The following output is displayed:
