Dynamically adding resources that are not in the database
These are some cases where
a resource might be dynamically added
to the current plan:
- An SRSTAT command refers to a resource that is not in the plan. If the resource is not in the database, HCL Workload Automation for Z looks at the CREATE keyword of SRSTAT (it must be YES) and the DYNAMICADD keyword of RESOPTS (it must be EVENT or YES) to decide whether to build an entry for the resource in the current plan.
- You add an occurrence to the current plan using the MCP panel. One of the operations in the occurrence references the resource. HCL Workload Automation for Z looks at the DYNAMICADD keyword of RESOPTS (it must be OPER or YES) to decide whether to build an entry for the resource in the current plan.
Refer to Customization and Tuning for details of RESOPTS.
