File

A file is used as a dependency for jobs and job streams. A job or job stream with a file dependency cannot start to run until the file exists with the characteristics defined in the dependency.

If you define a file dependency for jobs or job streams that are defined in a pool or a dynamic pool, HCL Workload Automation processes perform a file existence check on a dynamic agent workstation of the pool or dynamic pool, randomly selected.
