Recovering from JP record corruption in AD

About this task

After you activate the mirroring of the current plan to the database referenced by the Federator, if the communication between the Z controller and Federator is not established, the JP record in the AD might be corrupted. To recover, perform the following procedure:

Run the modify command F procname,MIRRCLN to reset the JP record, where permanent data stored in the database where the CP is mirrored.
Stop and restart the Z controller.

After performing the recovery procedure, the Z controller is registered to the Federator with a new engineID assigned, and the mirroring process starts. The data stored in the database related to the previous engineID is deleted according to the value that you set in the mirroring.cleanup.interval variable of the fed_variables.xml file (for more details, see Configuring the Federator to mirror data on a database).
