Changing DB2® passwords

You can change passwords used by DB2®, such as the <TWS_user> password or the passwords of the user IDs used by HCL Workload Automation to access the database, as described in Changing key HCL Workload Automation passwords. If you need to change other DB2-related passwords, follow the instructions in the DB2® documentation.

After you have changed the password, modify the db.password parameter in the datasource_db2.xml configuration file, as described in Changing the properties for the database. You can optionally encrypt the password, as described in Optional password encryption - secure script.
