Installing

#installing__itasks summarizes the tasks to install HCL Workload Automation for Z and identifies the address space type for each of them. Depending on your configuration, you might not need to perform every task indicated in the table. Skip those sections that are not relevant to your installation.

Before beginning the installation tasks, determine the HCL Workload Automation for Z configuration you want to create and the functions you want to use (for details, see Planning your configuration).

Note: To generate the skeletons that are appropriate to the current version, you are required to run EQQJOBS. For details, see Step 4. Using the EQQJOBS installation aid.
