Changing DB2® passwords

To change passwords used by DB2® other than the <TWS_user> password or the passwords of the user IDs used by HCL Workload Automation to access the database (see Changing key HCL Workload Automation passwords) follow the instructions in the DB2® documentation.

After you have changed the password, modify the db.password parameter in the datasource_db2.xml configuration file, as described in Changing the properties for the database. You can optionally encrypt the password, as described in Optional password encryption - secure script.
