Stopping the scheduler

To stop HCL Workload Automation for Z, enter the following z/OS® operator command: 
/P procname
where procname is the HCL Workload Automation for Z JCL procedure name

If you are stopping a controller, the controller creates a backup copy of the current plan data set (if required) and ends all active functions.

When HCL Workload Automation for Z ends, it writes this message to the message log: 
EQQZ006I NO ACTIVE PRODUCT SUBTASKS. THE SCHEDULER IS ENDING.
