External monitoring

These statements and parameters specify the configuration options for HCL Workload Automation for Z to work with Tivoli® Business Systems Manager.

ALERTS INCIDENT Defines the conditions under which the Z controller posts to a chat tool the incident specified in the member_name of the EQQINCID data set.
MAIL Defines the conditions under which the Z controller sends the email specified in the member_name of the EQQEMAIL data set.
MONALERT Defines the conditions under which a generic alert will be sent to IBM® Tivoli® Monitoring.
MONOPERThis parameter determines whether the conditions specified by the MONALERT keyword will be in effect only for jobs that have the EXTERNAL MONITOR option set to YES, or for all jobs. It is used with IBM® Tivoli® Monitoring.
OPCOPTSEXTMONSpecifies if Integration with Tivoli® Business Systems Manager is enabled.
CODEPAGE Specifies the host code page to be used for the data collected by the monitoring task
MONOPTSMONHOSTNAME Identifies the host name or IP address of the remote monitoring application. This parameter is used for the integration with the IBM® Tivoli® Monitoring product.
MONPORTSpecifies the port number of the remote monitoring application. It is used for the integration with IBM® Tivoli® Monitoring.
LOCHOSTNAMESpecifies the local host name or IP address that will be used to communicate with IBM® Tivoli® Monitoring.
LOCPORTSpecifies the local port number used by the controller to communicate with IBM® Tivoli® Monitoring.
BULKDISCDefines if and how the bulk discovery is to be performed. This keyword is used for the integration with IBM® Tivoli® Monitoring.
CONNTIMEOUTDefines the connection establishment timeout to be used when communicating with IBM® Tivoli® Monitoring.
MONPOLOPERATION Specifies the types of operations that will be automatically selected for monitoring by IBM® Tivoli® Monitoring. It is also used to automatically set the EXTERNAL MONITOR job option of an operation to YES, when a specific event occurs.
