Filtering the display of event records (Windows)

About this task

You can restrict the display of event records in the event log, specify values for the branch and user, and include or exclude checkout events and minor events.

Procedure

  1. Click View and set Filter Toolbar to display the filter toolbar.
  2. Do any of the following:
    • To include minor events, click the Include Minor Events icon to the right of the Include Checkout Events icon in the filter toolbar.
    • To include checkout event records, click the Include Checkout Events icon to the right of the Filter Events By User field in the filter toolbar.
    • To restrict the display of event records to those associated with a login name, on the filter toolbar, in the Filter Events By User field, enter a user login name.
    • To restrict the display of event records to those associated with a branch type other than main (the default), select the name of the branch type from the list.

Results

The display refreshes with the filtered event records. You can also indicate how to treat the filter settings.
