Navigation History preferences

Use the Navigation History preferences dialog box to specify the object type and number of days to retain a history of recent selections.

Controls in the dialog box

The following controls are displayed in the Navigation History dialog box.

Column name	Displays
Type	Click to specify the type of object for which you are setting history options. You can select the Address Bar or the Most Recently Used Views.
Number to keep in history	Click to specify the number of days to retain a history of recently used addresses or views. You can also type a number into this field.
Restore Defaults	Click to restore the default settings to the Navigation History preferences page.
Apply	Click to apply any changes you have specified while leaving open the Preferences window.
OK	Confirms the operation and dismisses the window.
Cancel	Cancels the operation.
