Locking and unlocking the VOB
A VOB backup is valid only if the VOB has been locked for all users before the backup begins.
About this task
You must be the VOB owner or privileged user to lock or unlock
a VOB. Several GUIs support VOB locking, as do the cleartool lock and unlock commands.
