About the HCL VersionVault Explorer
You can use the HCL VersionVault Explorer to access and modify resources under HCL VersionVault source control.
The HCL VersionVault Explorer is a user interface for HCL VersionVault that is powered by Eclipse technology. HCL VersionVault Explorer includes many of the features provided by the native VersionVault client and can run on a broad range of Windows® and Linux and UNIX systems.
With the HCL VersionVault Explorer, you can access resources in repositories as ordinary files and directories under HCL VersionVault source control using either Dynamic views (LAN only) or Web views (LAN or WAN) or both. You can also add files and directories to HCL VersionVault, committing them to repositories and making them available to other team members. In the LAN environment, HCL VersionVault Explorer (the thin client) must be installed on the same system as the HCL VersionVault native client (the thick client). In the WAN environment, HCL VersionVault Explorer must be installed on a remote client system that has access to a VersionVault WAN server.
