Using Linux™ as a VOB server
If you use Linux™ as a VOB server, you may receive intermittent error messages from HCL VersionVault because of NFS caching issues in the Linux™ operating system. In most cases, when you perform the same HCL VersionVault operation again, it succeeds.
The configurations listed below are less likely to experience
these problems:
- Remote Linux™ VOB server and a local Windows™ view server and client using the VersionVault File Service protocol, where remote refers to a separate host and local refers to the same host.
- Local Linux™ view server and client.
