Introduction to the HCL VersionVault UCM tutorial
This topic introduces the HCL VersionVault Explorer Change Management (UCM) tutorial.
HCL VersionVault UCM is an out-of-the-box project management process layered on top of base VersionVault. UCM simplifies the management of projects whose sources are put under source control. The HCL VersionVault Explorer UCM tutorial is designed so that a VersionVault Administrator sets up a UCM project on the VersionVault server for a tutorial user. The tutorial user can then join the UCM project and run through the scenarios on the VersionVault Explorer to learn how to perform basic UCM tasks.
Before you can use the HCL VersionVault Explorer UCM tutorial, your VersionVault Administrator must set up the tutorial project. Download the ucm-tutorial.zip file and send it to your VersionVault Administrator. The ucm-tutorial.zip file contains a readme.txt file with instructions for your administrator to use when setting up the environment for the UCM Tutorial.
