To access resources, you must load them into your VersionVault view.
About this task
In this lesson, you will load your tutorial VOB into your VersionVault view. The VOB must be loaded so that you can add
files and directories to source control or to check them out.
To load
resources into a view:
Procedure

If you are using Eclipse, open the VersionVault
Explorer
perspective.

Connect to the VersionVault server. In the
VersionVault Navigator, select
yourname_tut_view and then click the
(Connect To VersionVault
Server button in the toolbar. In the WAN dialog box, fill in the
connection information and click OK.

Load the VOB.

Navigate to your tutorial VOB in the VersionVault Navigator,
right-click the VOB, and click Show VersionVault View Configuration.

Right-click in the VersionVault View
Configuration view and select Edit Configuration.
Note: You can also click the Edit Configuration icon on the VersionVault View Configuration view
menu bar to invoke the Edit Configuration dialog box.

In the Edit Configuration dialog
box, navigate to your tutorial VOB in the Select resources
and add or remove rules list box and click the Add button
to add the tutorial VOB to the Load Rules edit box.
Note: You
can also type the name of the tutorial VOB directly into the Load
Rules edit box.

Click OK in the Edit
Configuration dialog box.
Note: You can also load resources by clicking on the menu option list in the VersionVault Navigator, selecting Unloaded elements,
Unloaded Private VOBs, or Unloaded Public VOBs,
right-clicking on the unloaded resource in the VersionVault Navigator and clicking Load Resource.
Results
Your tutorial VOB is now loaded in your view and you can now
edit the contents of the tutorial VOB.
