Pending Changes Configuration (UCM)
Use this dialog box to configure options in the Pending Changes view.
This dialog box lists the parameters you must configure before you can use the Pending Changes view for a UCM view.
Controls in the dialog box
The following controls appear in the dialog box:
Control name | Control description |
---|---|
My project uses single-stream development | Designates the fact that changes you are making will not be integrated into any other stream. If you select this option, the other options in this dialog become inactive. |
My project uses multi-stream development | Choose this option if you intend to integrate your changes into another HCL VersionVault stream, then specify the remaining options in the dialog box. |
My development stream | The name of the stream in which you are working. |
My integration stream | The name of the stream to which your changes will be delivered during a deliver operation. By default, this is the UCM project's integration stream. |
Change | Click to select a different integration stream. |
My integration view | Click to select an existing local VersionVault view in which the changes are integrated. In a UCM environment, the default setting is the integration view you created when you joined this UCM project. |
New | Click to create a new VersionVault view in which the changed elements are integrated. |
Add | Click to fetch integration view information from the server and to populate the My integration view option list with all the available integration views that are attached to the integration stream. This option is only active if you have previously saved configuration information for the current view. This option also becomes inactive after you use it and it has added integration views to the My integration view option list. |
By default, include integration changes in my pending changes | When this option is selected, the Pending Changes view displays differences between the development stream and the integration stream in addition to differences between the contents of the current view and the development stream. If this option is not selected, the Pending Changes view shows only the differences between the contents of the current view and the development stream. |
Show and manage changes from the following baseline on the integration stream | Specify the default type of baseline to which you rebase by selecting either The recommended baseline or The latest baseline. Note that changes that display in the Pending Changes view, which reflect differences between the development stream and the integration stream, appear in terms of this baseline on the integration stream. |
The recommended baseline | Click to specify that the type of baseline to which you rebase is the recommended baseline by default. |
The latest baseline | Click to specify that the type of baseline to which you rebase is the latest baseline by default. |
OK | Confirms the operation and dismisses the window. |
Cancel | Cancels the operation. |
