HCL VersionVault provides two clients for software developers: local and remote. Each client supports different mechanisms for accessing source-controlled filesystem objects. Both clients provide graphical and command-line interfaces.

Use the VersionVault View Configuration view to edit the version selection rules and load rules for a view.

View or edit load rules

Use the Load Rules tab of the VersionVault View Configuration tool to examine load rules for a VersionVault Web view, automatic view, or snapshot view and open the Edit Configuration dialog box, which allows you to edit the view's configuration.

To view load rules, click the Display Selected View's Configuration icon on the VersionVault View Configuration toolbar and select a view in the Show View Configuration dialog box that opens. To modify the view's configuration, click to use the Edit Configuration dialog box.

The following icons on the VersionVault View Configuration toolbar are available when you select the Load Rules tab:


Icon	Function
	Edit Configuration. Click this icon to open the Edit Configuration dialog box.
	Display Selected View's Configuration. Click to open the Show View Configuration dialog box and select a view to display its configuration in the Load Rules tab.
