To make a baseline

Procedure

  1. Lock the stream to prevent developers from delivering work while you create the baseline.
    Developers can continue to work on activities in their development streams.
  2. Verify the stability of the project by testing its components.
  3. Make the baseline. Use one of the following methods:
    • Make baselines for all components in the stream
    • Make a baseline for certain activities
    • Make a baseline for one specific component
  4. Unlock the stream so that developers can deliver work.
