Modes of Installation

Three installation modes are supported. Choose the mode that suits your environment:

• GUI Mode — graphical wizard, recommended for first-time installs
• Console Mode — command-line interface, requires UTF-8 terminal encoding
• Silent Mode — unattended install using a response file, ideal for repeated deployments

Refer to Chapter 4 for the actual installation commands for each mode.
