Synchronizing users
Synchronizing users assures that system tables contain all of the user information that is entered through either HCL® Marketing Platform or HCL Marketing OperationsDistributed Marketing. You must synchronize users when you create new users.
Automated synchronization takes place on the schedule that is set by the usermanagerSyncTime property under Settings > Configuration > Marketing Operations > umoConfigurationPlatform > Configuration > Distributed Marketing.
You can also manually synchronize the Marketing OperationsDistributed Marketing user tables with the Marketing Platform user tables. This procedure enables new users to log in to Marketing OperationsDistributed Marketing and for changes to take effect before the next scheduled synchronization takes place.
