System requirements and compatibility

Unica Interact operates as part of the Unica suite of products.

Installation and Upgrade

Unica Interact 26.1.0 supports clean installation.

Unica Interact 26.1.0 supports upgrade from earlier versions but not versions that are earlier than 10.1.x.

Upgrading to 26.1.0

If you are on version 12.1.x
  • Option 1 - In-place Upgrade:
    • Perform an in-place upgrade from 12.1.x → to 26.1.0
  • Option 2 - Fast Upgrade
    • Perform a Fast Upgrade from 12.1.x to 26.1.0 (for more information, see HCL Unica 26.1.0 Fast Upgrade Guide).
If you are on version 25.1.0 / 25.1.0.1 / 25.1.1,
  • Perform an in-place upgrade from 25.1.0 / 25.1.0.1 / 25.1.1 → 26.1.0.
If you are on any version earlier than 12.1.0, you can upgrade as follows:
  • Option 1 - In-place Upgrade:
    Note:
    Versions earlier than 10.1.x are not supported.
    • Perform a Fast Upgrade from version 10.1.x / 11.x.x / 12.0.x.x to version 12.1.0 (for more information, see HCL Unica 12.1.0 Fast Upgrade Guide)
    • Perform an in-place upgrade from version 12.1.0 to version 26.1.0
  • Option 2 - Fast Upgrade
    • Perform a Fast Upgrade from your existing version to 26.1.0 (for more information, see HCL Unica 26.1.0 Fast Upgrade Guide).
      Note:
      Existing version cannot be earlier than 10.1.x.
