Introduction

The Detect CLI is a command-line interface tool for interacting with the HCL Unica Detect system. It enables administrators and integrators to manage Detect resources directly from a terminal, without requiring access to the web UI.

The Crypto module provides commands to encrypt and decrypt sensitive string values " such as database passwords or API secrets " using the encryption key configured for the Detect installation. Encrypted values produced by the encrypt command can be stored safely in configuration files and later recovered using the decrypt command.
