What's New in HCL Detect

In this release, we have introduced some new features, and we have made changes to some existing features or functionality.

The following list mentions the new features, and the changes to existing features, in HCL Detect for 25.1.0.1 version:

MHS Integration for Licensing

Detect is integrated with MHS for tracking license consumption. Detect counts customer transactions and profile data uploads, pushing this data daily to MHS. The MHS configuration are managed in the drive.json file.

Platform User Group Integration for Departments

The standalone "department" concept in Detect has been replaced with integration with platform user groups. You can now create user groups (e.g., manager, operator, viewer) within the platform, assign users and permissions, and isolate events, allowing users to only view and edit events within their assigned group.

MaxAI Integration for Report Analysis

Detect is integrated with Maxi Insights for enhanced report analysis. MaxAI Insights provides brief pop-up information on recent data in both the dashboard and report tabs. Detailed statistical reports are accessible by clicking "continue to chart" or "view details" in the chat window.

HCL CDP Real-time Segmentation Integration

Detect is now integrated with HCL CDP to support real-time segmentation, and acts as a backend engine. Detect processes incoming CDP data in real time, identifies patterns based on configured trigger conditions, and sends events back to CDP. Detect can also serve as a source for CDP, allowing CDP to utilize Detect-identified events for segmentation. Event configurations in Detect, originating from CDP, are automatically created via API integration when segments are created on the CDP UI. In the drive.json file, configuration of CDP feed application details like CDP event inclusion, data model, and Kafka-based application settings, are provided.

What's New for v25.1.0

The following list mentions the new features, and the changes to existing features, in HCL Detect for 25.1.0 version:

Integration with Unica Platform

  • Search by event identifier, event name, or event description.

  • Use new filters for status, feed application, and feed data model to narrow your results.

  • View event results across all available projects from a single search.
