Configuring Unica Campaign and Unica Optimize before deployment
Before you deploy, create and populate the Unica Campaign , Unica Optimize, and Unica Deliver system tables and register Unica Campaign, Unica Optimize, and Unica Deliver manually.

Registering Unica Deliver manually

During the installation process. if the Unica Deliver installer cannot access the Unica Platform system tables, you must run the configTool utility to register it manually.

About this task

By default, the Unica Campaign installer automatically registers Unica Deliver with the Unica Platform system tables without enabling Unica Deliver. In some situations, the Unica Campaign installer does not connect with the Unica Platform system tables to automatically register Unica Deliver.

If the installer does not register Unica Deliver automatically, you must register Unica Deliver manually with the configTool utility that is provided with the Unica installation. The configTool utility is in the tools\bin directory under your Unica Platform installation.

To register Unica Deliver manually, use the following command to run the configTool utility:

configTool -r deliver -f "full_path_to_Deliver_installation_directory\conf\deliver_configuration.xml"

The Unica Deliver installation directory is a subdirectory of the Unica Campaign installation directory.
