The following concepts pertain to system tables, user tables, flat files, and table mapping.

Mapping tables is the process of making external customer or system tables accessible in HCL® Campaign.

About table mapping

Mapping tables is the process of making external customer or system tables accessible in HCL® Campaign.

A table mapping is the metadata that is used to define a base, dimension, or general table. It contains information on the data source, the table name and location, the table fields, audience levels, and data. Table mappings can be stored for re-use in table catalogs.

Version 10.0.0.2

Important: This feature is available only in version 10.0.0.2. It has been removed from the application in version 10.0.0.3.

When you access table mappings, the mapped tables are displayed based on table hierarchy. The Base Record Tables are initially displayed. Expand a Base Record Table (parent) to view the Dimension tables (child).
