Enabling IBM® Traveler using a 64-bit JVM on IBM®
IBM Traveler uses 32 bit JVM by default. There are two methods to enable 64 bit JVM.
- Setting
JAVA_HOME
to the following value inNotes.ini
.JAVA_HOME=/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/JavaVM/jdk60/64bit
- Setting
JavaUse64BitJVM
to the following value inNotes.ini
.JavaUse64BitJVM=1
Note: There is no need to manually setJAVA_HOME
when using this method.
Ensure that IBM® Developer Kit for Java™ V6 J9 64-bit is installed and that the configuration will also enable all other Domino® jobs using 64-bit JVM.
Note: IBM i uses the JVM at the OS level. You should upgrade the system JVM to the latest Java
