- Improved Application Navigation Experience: HCL Verse for iOS now includes a navigation drawer for Mail, Calendar, Contacts and Actions. To open it, tap on the navigation icon (hamburger icon) from the top left corner of the app. The new navigation drawer for mail now contains all mail folders allowing for easy folder transitions. In addition, the navigation drawer allows for transitioning between calendar views as well as accessing the application Settings.
- Simplified Calendar Reminder actions: HCL Verse for iOS has simplified actions for Calendar Reminder type of events. Previously, HCL Verse iOS showed End time and Busy status for Reminder type events. These fields are not applicable for Calendar Reminders and have been removed in version 12.0.21.
- Support for iOS 17: HCL Verse for iOS 12.0.21 has been tested to be compatible with iOS 17 as well as the previous version 12.0.20. For further information, refer to the Device Operating Systems section of the Traveler System Requirements (KB0085674).

- Upgraded MobileIron AppConnect SDK to 4.9.0.25: This update resolves an issue discovered for AppConnect apps running on iOS 16.x. The issue involves repeated prompts for allowing or not allowing Pasteboard operations between AppConnect apps (including HCL Verse for iOS). Upgrading AppConnect SDK to 4.9.0.25 and pushing a configuration policy from MobileIron fixes this issue. Refer to this article for more information.
- Support for Replace Data feature: Replace Data allows the user to sync a fresh copy of his Mail, Calendar, and Contacts data from the HCL Traveler server without the need for a complete reconfiguration of the app. This feature can be found by navigating to in HCL Verse for iOS.

Support for viewing rich text calendar descriptions on Calendar Events and Notices: HCL Verse for iOS users can now view rich text content on Calendar event descriptions, including email notices. This means that both the chair and invitee can see calendar event descriptions with rich text formatting (text colors, font styles, hyperlinks, etc.) including inline images (embedded or remote). This feature requires HCL Traveler 12.0.1 FP1 to be installed. Mail routing between Domino and domains with Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs): Verse iOS now is able to send and receive mail from non-Domino mail users who use Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) in their email addresses. This feature requires an HCL Traveler Server 12.0.1 or higher. In addition, the HCL Domino SMTP servers that route inbound and outbound mail must be running HCL Domino 12.0.1 or higher. - Forward Calendar Event Notices: HCL Verse iOS now supports forwarding
calendar event notices as email
- A Forward button appears in the event header when viewing calendar event notices. This allows users to generate a new email from the notice.
- A Forward option is also available when doing a Swipe action on the event notice from the Email Inbox or Calendar Inbox.
- Create Event from Email Message: HCL Verse iOS now supports creating
calendar events from email messages.
- A Create Event from Message option is visible when tapping on the More (...) button while viewing an email from Verse iOS.
- The email contents is used to pre-populate the new event's subject, attendees, and description.
- Enabled App Transport Security (ATS): This version now enforces Apple's App Transport Security for enhanced security of Verse iOS. This means that network connections made by Verse iOS must be secured by the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol using reliable certificates and ciphers. ATS blocks connections that do not meet minimum security requirements.

- Forward Calendar Events Support: HCL Verse IOS now supports
forwarding calendar events via email.
- A “Forward” button now appears in the event header when viewing calendar events. This allows users to generate a new email from the calendar event containing the calendar event details.
- Only downloaded calendar attachments are included in the forwarded calendar events.
- Support for enforcing Traveler Server URL updates: Whenever necessary, HCL Verse iOS now supports updating its server URL as enforced by Traveler server. For more information refer to the following Support article: Updating the Client Access URL using Traveler server.
- Updated Minimum OS Support to iOS 14.0: This version only supports iOS 14.0 and above.

Synchronization Error User Notification Improvements: Support has been added to notify the user about synchronization config errors, such as exceeding the mail server quota, via a dialog or notification, along with logging these messages to the user log file.

Domino TOTP Authentication: HCL Domino 12.0.0 supports requiring a Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP), which is in addition to their user names and passwords for http authentication. For more information, see Mobile client support for TOTP authentication. HCL Verse iOS now supports the Traveler server endpoint configured for TOTP authentication.

- Domino SAML Authentication - HCL Verse iOS now supports federated-identity authentication using Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML). This allows mobile users to authenticate to a customer’s identity provider prior to accessing the HCL Traveler services. For more information, see Mobile client support for SAML authentication.
- SmartForward & SmartReply - HCL Verse iOS now supports SmartForward and SmartReply, providing a faster mechanism for the client to forward or reply to emails without having to send the full content of the original email in the process.
