Administering a server pool
When HCL Traveler is configured for High Availability and is using an enterprise database, you must use the web based administration client to perform HCL Traveler specific administration tasks, such as viewing devices and changing device settings.
If you use the Domino® administrator client to open
LotusTraveler.nsf in this mode, you will be notified that the selected view is
obsolete, and that the HCL Traveler web based administration must be used. In High Availability
mode, the administration data is no longer stored in the stand-alone
LotusTraveler.nsf database. Instead it is stored in the enterprise database that is
accessed by all HCL Traveler servers in the pool. Note that you may still use the Domino® administrator client to perform Domino® server specific configuration changes.
When launching the web based administration client, you can connect directly to any HCL Traveler server in the pool and you will see the same view of the data as all HCL Traveler servers.

0 to 100: The server is available. 100 means 100% available, 0 is 0% available. -100 to -1: The server is constrained due to load or resource availability. It will continue to process existing syncs but new syncs will not start. -100 is most constrained where -1 is least constrained. -200: The server is running but it is not available for work from the load balancer. It will continue to handle users that have been explicitly bound to run on this server. For more information, see Load balancing considerations. |

Heartbeat |
Timestamp of the last time this server recorded that it was still alive. If the server is shutdown normally, then this value will be empty. Under normal operation, each HCL Traveler server updates the heartbeat every 60 seconds. |

The version and build number of the HCL Traveler server. |

Host |
Fully qualified internet host name. |

Port |
TCP Port number used in server to server communication for load balancing and session routing. |

IP Address |
IP address of the server that is used for server to server communication and session routing. |
