Release 11.6.4

Release 11.6.4 includes the following new features.

  • Save Meeting Password

    The user can now securely save a meeting password for quicker meeting joins. An administrator can disable this feature with the im.mobile.disablePasswordSave user policy.

  • View you community settings while logged in

    Open app settings, then tap Community Settings under the General heading. These settings are read-only but, you can view and navigate them just as you can when you log out of the client.

  • Notification for when the meeting mode changes

    If you are in a meeting and the owner changes the meeting from moderated to non-moderated or vice versa, a notification will be displayed letting you know of the change.

  • New download progress indicator

    When a user chooses to download a meeting recording for later playback, the download happens on a background task; the user can continue using the app. We now display a download progress indicator under the title bar of the app screens so the user can monitor progress or even cancel the download.

  • Android Enterprise customers can now lock user credentials
    When pushing a community configuration down to the client using AppConfig, an administrator can now lock the UserID and Password in addition to the community configuration. For more information, see Configuring HCL Sametime for Android via an EMM Provider.
    Note: For the User ID and Password field to be locked in the client, the admin must use Android Enterprise to push down a value for the User ID and Password.
